Corporate Team Building Program

Elite Mindset Team Retreat.

A one or two day program that moves a team through four stages — Settle the body, Reflect honestly, Align as a team, then Commit to performance.

Max 12 per event 1 or 2 days 30 & 90 day follow up
The program

No slides. Phones in a basket. Real quiet.

Every activity is built on Betty's three assets: counselling, body-first therapies and the garden. Betty's is a private residence, not a conference venue — and the program uses that. Small circles and a kind of quiet most offices never offer.

Who it is for: leadership teams, departments after a restructure or merger, teams entering a high pressure quarter, and individuals on a high performance or leadership track.

Group size: up to 12 people at a time. Twelve is the maximum for any single event, so every circle stays small and quiet.

Program arc · 4 stages

From calm to commitment.

01

Settle

Breathwork, yoga and sound healing settle the body first, so the mind can follow.

02

Reflect

Individual and group counselling, where the team tells the truth in a safe circle.

03

Align

Garden walks and team challenges turn reflection into shared action.

04

Commit

One 90 day team goal, and a planted commitment the team returns to see.

The company leaves with a team that trusts more, argues better and shares one 90 day goal. Each person leaves with tools to regulate stress and a written personal commitment.

Outcomes

What it looks like back at work.

For the company

  • Trust and psychological safety — people raise problems early instead of hiding them
  • Shared direction — one agreed 90 day team goal, owned by everyone in the room
  • Healthier conflict — agreed team norms for disagreement and feedback
  • Resilience under pressure — a shared reset routine before deadlines and hard meetings

For the individual

  • Stress regulation — two breathing tools each person can use in under 3 minutes
  • Self awareness — a clear view of personal strengths and the habits that block them
  • Focus and energy — better sleep and recovery habits, fewer reactive days
  • Personal commitment — three written performance commitments, reviewed at 30 and 90 days
Pillar 1 · Where the team tells the truth

Counselling

Sessions run in the quiet study or out in the garden, one to one or in a circle, always led by a licensed counsellor. Nothing said in an individual session reaches the employer; from group sessions, management receives only the themes the group itself agrees to share.

Circle of Trust

60 min · Garden circle — a talking piece passed around; one high and one low from the last quarter. Listen fully, no advice, no fixing.

Unspoken Friction

75 min · Quiet study — anonymous cards on what slows the team down, grouped into themes; the team agrees new norms for each.

Strengths Mirror

45 min · Garden circle — each person hears specific strengths from three colleagues, with a real example for each.

Pressure Debrief

60 min · Quiet study — for teams coming out of a crisis, layoffs or a failed project: what happened, what it cost us, what we keep.

Pillar 2 · Settle the body first

Therapies

Each practice is framed as a performance tool people take back to the office, not a spa treat. Gentle breathwork only, with seated alternatives for every pose.

Morning Reset

20 min · Whole group — box breathing and slow exhale breathing; a reset to use before meetings, pitches and hard calls.

Pressure Drill

30 min · Pairs — a timed puzzle under mild pressure, then 3 minutes of slow breathing and a second round. Calm improves decisions.

Sound Bath Recovery

40 min · Whole group, lying down — singing bowls and gongs after the heavy counselling sessions.

Team Rhythm

30 min · Whole group — drums, bowls and shakers; one shared rhythm with no leader and no talking.

Team Flow & Partner Balance

30–45 min — gentle flow on one breath and count, then partner poses where each balance depends on the other.

Pillar 3 · Where reflection becomes action

The Garden

The garden hosts the active challenges and the final goal setting, so the day ends outdoors with a clear plan.

Silent Garden Walk

20 min · Solo — each person walks alone with one question card: “What would elite look like for me in 90 days?”

Walking One to Ones

30 min · Pairs, mixed seniority — walking the paths, coaching each other with three set questions.

Guided Path

40 min · Pairs — one partner blindfolded, guided by voice only along a level route. Swap roles, then debrief.

Garden Challenge

45 min · Teams of 4 to 6 — clues around the garden under constraints; observers report how the team worked.

Garden Strategy Circle

45 min · Whole group — under the trees, agree one 90 day team goal and the behaviours that will deliver it.

Plant the Commitment

20 min · Whole group — plant a tree or seedling tagged with the 90 day goal; return to see it at the 90 day review.

Packages

Four ways to bring your team.

The 30 and 90 day follow up is part of every package. Without follow up, a retreat is a nice day; with it, it changes performance.

Follow up & measurement

The retreat is only the beginning.

Before the retreat

  • Briefing call with HR or the team leader on goals and current tensions
  • Anonymous pre survey: stress, trust, clarity of goals, energy
  • Health and consent form for the therapies
  • A short welcome note explaining confidentiality and what to wear

After the retreat

  • Day 30 — a 90 minute group session, at Betty's or online, to review the team goal and norms
  • Day 90 — return to the garden, see the planted commitment, rerun the survey and reset the next goal
  • A report to the client with aggregate before and after scores only — never individual answers

Your retreat is held by a lead facilitator, licensed counsellors, a breathwork and yoga instructor, a sound practitioner, and a host for catering and the garden.
